Production process instances saving

Currently process model instances get cleared out after a configurable time span. Quite often when we have production errors we don't have time to investigate for weeks if it's not a high priority. Could we have 2 settings on clear out. One for process models that are a success (say 3 days) and one for errors (say 4 weeks).
